Update!!!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Since tax season is in full swing, I have been busy. The Boy has been having wrestling tournaments almost every weekend. It has been crazy. Both of my kids have had colds for about two weeks. The Girl has been in to the doctor twice now. He thinks I'm crazy!!!! I am afraid her cold is going to turn into the flu........ I guess he isn't!!!

Only two more weeks of cheerleading!!!! The Girl loves it, but I am ready for it to be over!!! I really want her to play softball this summer, but she doesn't like it...it's too hard!!!

I had quite a scare Monday morning. My cell phone rang when I got to work and it was The Boy's school. The conversation went something like this:
Principal: "Mrs. Maske?"
Me: "Yes."
Principal: "This is Houston Townsend at Pottsville Middle Grades. I have a young man in my office who needs to speak with you."
Me: (All kinds of thoughts start running through my mind..........he's done something so bad that they are making me come to school and pick him up......he's had an accident in his pants and he needs new ones..... The Boy threw a pie in Mr. Townsends face during Red Ribbon Week and he is getting him back!!! ect.....ect......)
The Boy: (in his little Boy voice) "Mom, I got picked to be student of the month."
Me: "Really?!?!?!?!.... Well, congratulations!!! Um, what does that mean?"
The Boy: "I don't really know. Mr. Townsend wants to talk to you again."
Principal: Chuckle, chuckle.... "Congratulations Mrs. Maske."
Me: "Very funny. You scared me to death!!!"
Principal: "You have a very good boy here, why were you so worried?"

Anyway, The Boy was recognized at the monthly school board meeting on Tuesday night. His teacher wrote some very nice things about him and his pic will in the paper. He was pretty excited about it all!! Every month the teachers nominate someone from their class and the other teachers vote on the students. They choose one from each school, elem., middle, jr high and high school.

Rick thinks that I bribed his teacher because I made her a heart box and chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day!!! You know, whatever it takes!!!!
